Description

This version of Turoknis my favorite. I loved what Fabian and Rafael did with him in the Acclaim books.

I believe this is a promotional image Rags did for the video game Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. I am am a bit hit or miss on Rags's art but this one is a bullseye. There is something effortless about this image. The inking is terrific too.

I won this page in a Dec '22 Comic Connect auction. Am only selling because I just won a different pre-Crisis Staton in a different auction and I need to make room on my wall.

The piece is in fantastic shape. It's on 11 x 17 comic board.

The game was what gave Turok a new life and even wider recognition beyond the comics. Thanks to superior game play making it a classic for its time, Turok images like this crept into mainstream consciousness. The right artist at the right time made all the difference!
