Description

sheet area 11 x 8.5", year unknown. Interesting piece, as the actual hand-done artwork on this object is the black and red pencil work on the side of the sheet posted as the main image. On the verso is a 'Xerox' [see 2nd photo]of virtually the same image but reversed obviously, that presumably Tim Vigil traced the linework for the pencil side from using a lightbox. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that he liked the composition of a previous prelim, but decided he wanted the mirror image instead to work from, so he printed a copy of the previous prelim on a copier, then flipped it and traced the major lines, whilst adding some alterations.....................IF anyone out there knows what finished or finished and published piece this resulted in - and where - PLEASE message me here, thanks!
