DescriptionI've been on the hunt for a large Arthur Adams X-Men piece since I started collecting OA. Came up short on a few other pieces in the past few years. So when this one popped up, I knew it was time to go big or go home. I picked up a print of this the first time I met Arthur in person and always thought how amazing it would be to own the original art. Nice large single 18x24 board!Social/Sharing |

Quite impressive. The level of detail from Art Adams is insane. But I feel like everyone says that. Ok, I just did. Congrats on this pick-up!

I remember when this was originally commissioned by a friend of mine. The timing was crazy because he only requested a recreation because he couldn't get his hands on the original Classic X-Men #1. But right after he commissioned this, the original was actually offered to him. So he got rid of this one (sadly, he got rid of the original #1 as well). Anyway, glad you decided to go big on the auction. I was wondering where it would end up. A great way to end the year and begin the new year. Congrats and enjoy!

That's quite a story. I would have kept both if I had the opportunity. I remember seeing somebody post a photo of this one in a binder with a sold sticker on it. Only wish I could have grabbed it at that time!

Lovely example of modern Art Adams filtered through his classic 80s X-Men work. Certainly went for a pretty penny, but congrats on picking it up (and sharing it on CAF)!

Absolutely Top Notch. Congrats on such a fine aquisition. Love it all, including a great depiction of Beast. Mind blowing for me that anyone could give this or the original cover up. Nice you were in a position to get something so hefty. Congrats!
