Fantastic page with the FF. I'm a sucker for space scenes too!

All the elements of the cover are here in this thrilling Kirby page full of the pathos of Reed and the impending threat of the Frightful Four to move the story and audience. Marvel at its finest!

Historic! Chic Stone did a nice job rendering Reed's face in particular. It's also a great example to remind us that Kirby considered Ben to be stocky but not tall, much like himself.

Nice!!! Chic was mana from heaven when I was 10 or so. There were so many mediocre Inkers on the King at that time and Chic saved us all!!!

Thanx for the larger image. Does your CamScanner™ remove all the hiccups and farts on the page and bleach it out? It removes the difference in panel 4 which seems to be a Paste-up... and Jack's notes are Unreadable. That's my fave parts!
I'm one of those guys that likes my old comics to smell like mildew. : )
I should shut-up. beggers can't be choosers. Thanx so much!!!

Ill update the description with Kirbys notes. Check back in a few days. Cam Scanner makes the image white for some reason but beyond that I dont know.

I added a larger scan from Heritage as an additional image. Hope that helps.

That's my "go-to" when I see something here I'm jealous of. But for some reason this didn't show-up in my Heritage search... Thanx so much for the Heritage scan. They bleach their pages too sometimes, but this one is very cool<

Actually, your main scan looks best. It's just small. Thanx again!
