Description

Absolutely floored by this piece. I own the MM2016 Black Bolts from Jusko, and the 2018 Black Bolts from Bianchi, but unfortunately there was no Black Bolt in the 2020 set by Palumbo. I asked him to create something of Black Bolt if he were in the card set. I gave Dave full creative control. This is what happens when we as collectors let artist be artists. The composition of this piece like the Silent kings voice is fracturing the atmosphere around him is just incredible. Piece is fully painted 12x18 on board. Picked up directly from Dave at OAX 2025.

I don't know where I've seen this before, but it's an image that really sticks! Palumbo shows how to do pure contrast of black and white while bringing realism to fantasy.

I was so happy David brought some Alien work with him but I also could not take my eyes off of this Black Bolt. He was one of my favorite people to talk to at OAX.
