Fantastic Lightle interpretation of X-Men 140.  A classic issue between the Dark Phoenix saga and Days of Future Past, this reprint series of it provided a great opportunity for Lightle to reimagine scenes and have the creativity to bring his own vision to the much heralded cherished back issues.

Great looking cover with lots to look at, the closer you look the more you see, like some of the characters in the background.

Lightle was a truly underrated artist--and this is one of the best covers of this run.  Awesome subject matter and beautiful execution--and Wolverine fighting Wendigo!  Doesn't get much cooler than that.

Lightle had a spectacular run of covers on this book.  I would even stack it up against Arthur's and Mignola's great runs.  Not sure why they flipped the title from Classic X-men to X-men Classic with this issue, but it's cool you have the first one.  And I think it's one of his absolute best.  And I don't mean Classic X covers, but out of all his covers PERIOD.  Now I'm wishing I hadn't sold my #33 cover.  Anyway, congratulations!

I would dearly love to own the original cover to this issue but this is a pretty good alternative.  I think Lightle did an amazing job on the covers he did for this book.
