The 70's were a great era for Gil Kane covers. It looks like his incorporates the Green Lantern flight pose and camera shot for Iron Man. Circle and crystal balls must have been pretty popular too as a cover device to show multiple scenes on one cover.

Very clever cover by Gil featuring our armored warrior displayed in combat within the golden globe. How could you resist picking this comic up as a youngster? You couldn't...it's just too darn good.

I didn't know Tony Stark was nominated for a Golden Globe. That and the fact that the Black Lama stole it out from under his nose. Diabolical! Awesome cover.

I still remember getting this comic at a birthday party when I was eight years old. Every place setting at the card tables set up for us to have cake and ice cream had a comic book and this was the book where I sat down. Great memory - great cover.
