Description

The Count Nefaria arc in Avengers #164-#166 was one of my all time favorites. I loved that George revisited this story in his second Avengers run in the late �90s & early 2000. This is the crossover issue from the Thunderbolts run that fits between Avengers #33 and #34.

Excellent work by Mark Bagley. His version of Nefaria is very good. A lot.

What a great menacing image! So much inky black, which makes the "A" and "W" and Atlas's and Wonder Man's costumes really pop. And I love how Nefaria answers the question posed above him in the published version. Nice add!

Underrated series! The inking choices is what makes this pop in black and white and also slick in the color version. Having the crossover with the Avengers when Hawkeye took over is a natural!
