DescriptionMy favorite cover from this run. After the first 22 issues taking place on Earth, it was exciting in this story arc to get the backstory on Starfire and to see the Titans run into the Omega Men. Another issue I remember picking up off the spinner rack.Social/Sharing |

This one is a standout from the Blackfire saga with Starfire in bondage and the rest of the Titans drifting into space! This cover was when everything clicked and Perez/Tanghal sharpened up the look of the title.

Wow man!!! What a touchdown!!!! Amazing cover!!! I love the excellent composition of it! The white side and the black side! What a contrast! Starfire looks amazing! I always love the way George Perez drew beautiful ladies eith long hair!

I am a "strictly-Marvel-guy" but I have to admit that Perez reached his best on the NTT. Great cover!

I bought anything Perez would draw at this time, Marvel or DC it did not matter he was always battling it out with Bryne and Miller for the top spot.

This has got to be an all-time top 5 NTT cover... Perez was the artist that would draw me over to DC. His artwork would always stop me in my tracks at the spinner rack. What a talent, what a cover! CONGRATS!!!!

Splendid New Teen Titans cover pencilled by the great George Perez . The cover features Starfire, who is being held prisoner by her evil sister, Blackfire! Love this scene of Starfire being tortured by Blackfire's power beam while her Teen Titan teammates are drifting helplessly in outer space. It's a complex scene, but Perez was the master of complex scenes and made them look simple. Perez is amply aided in the task by the superb inks of the amazing Dick Giordano. The whole cover is a fantastic peek at the story inside the comic. Great covers like this one may be why comics sold so well in the Silver and Bronze Ages. Great pick-up, congrats!

Saw this artwork hanging in my comic shop at Another Dimension (Calgary) in my 20's! Fantastic piece! It was a great piece for display!
