Description

I was excited to meet Josh at #OAX2024 and on the hunt for some Venom art, but sadly he was all out. I was flipping through his portfolios and really liked this piece so picked this up.

We are mid action with wolverine being strangled by someone (Itsu) possessed by omega red.

he sees the projection of Jean Gray, then you can see in the last panel, he comes up for air realizing something isn't right with the scene and you can guess how this is going to go after he breaks that hold.

Love Cassara's attention to little details and his storytelling - the true test is if you can get the gist of what's going on without the lettering and this page passes that test with flying colors.

Thanks Josh for coming to OAX, really enjoyed meeting you and seeing your art IRL. Also, congrats on your auction wins. Always awesome to see a creator on both sides of the OA table!

A strangulation sensation with Jean and Wolverine! I guess Cyclops likes watching his lady in action with Wolverine.

Josh can do everything from the pin up-y stuff to the storytelling...case in point for the latter. Nice guy, too - was also happy to meet him and catch up with you at OAX! 'Til next time, man!
