Description

Danny Rand summons the Iron Fist to protect the mysterious Jade (and her soul) from the minions of the Usurper Lord of Hell -- Dhasha Khan! As he strikes (Until that hand begins to smoulder, to glow .... until it becomes like unto ... A THING OF IRON!), reality falls apart and they are transported to Khan's Kingdom of the Dead! Nebres kills it with this off-kilter half splash and Claremont leans into the dramatic dialogue per usual.

Man, Nebres did some really exciting, experimental art in these Iron Fist stories. I feel like they don't get talked about enough!

Agree Jeremy. I didn't read much of Nebres work when I was younger, but got into it later when I got into Deadly Hands, Warren, etc .... really came to appreciate the dynamic layouts he was attempting -- especially in the martial arts books.

What a great find...The art looks like Gene Colan and Neal Adams had a baby and they hired Bernie Wrightson as a nanny. Very cool page.
