DescriptionA little bit of history…Back in my first year of middle school I was spending my summer break with my dad while he was working at Warner Brothers Animation. Through a combination of the unwanted comps Bruce Timm would dump in the commissary, my collection of hardcore punk cd’s and a copy of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court I managed to stave off boredom. Eventually I read every comic in the office, played Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables over thirty times and finished my supply of Sam Clemens. Thankfully there was a local comic shop where I discovered Fear Agent. The comic book distillation of everything I love and the book that felt like it was made just for me. After finishing the series I thought “Damn…it would be so cool if Heath got to meet Twain”. Over a decade later Tony Moore showed me just what that looks like and it was better than anything my middle school brain could have conjured up. So thanks again to Tony and Rick Remender for a piece of work that will always be near and dear to my heart. 🚀 Social/Sharing |
