Concept Art for Tyrannosaurus Rex model designed by Dave Cockrum and built by Aurora in 1974 as part of their Prehistoric Scenes Collection. The T-Rex kit is the holy grail for 1970's Aurora Model Kit collectors.

I had that T-rex as a kid, red with glow-in-the-dark teeth & claws. Ran across it while clearing out Mom's attic, sadly junk.

Can't believe I never saw this piece over here. I got the T Rex for Christmas (1975, I believe). Just the coolest model ever. It was probably 40 years later that I learned Dave did the concept art. Incredible art, thanks so much for sharing it.
