DescriptionI have never read Pearl. I have no idea who this character is. But I know who Zu is. And this is one of the finest art pieces that I've seen from her.She has her own style and I'm mesmerized by it. There is so much texture in the art that is only seen in-person. There's a faint tiger going across her face. Social/Sharing |

Absolutely gorgeous - and like you said on the show, I'm sure even more stunning and delicate in person. Congrats!

Just like how a pearl is formed inside an oyster, where layers and layers of nacre are built up, Orzu adds layers of patterns and textures to each pass. They add luster, bright reflection, and thematic elements. Each brings another level of complextity just like a fully formed character and personality.

The stylings are gorgeous and the work beautiful. Really enjoy the subtle details of the tiger, Japanese sunburst, flowers and the golden ratio/nautilus shell. I don't know this character much either but lots of hidden things to describe her.

This has a photorealistic quality to it, but the overall detail is just stunning. Incredible piece Larry!

Stunning piece! So much subtlety in the images. We see a woman's face. At first it appears she has red and black tattoos of flowers on her shoulder and neck. But then we notice that the images are behind her, and we are seeing through her. Through her white hair we see traces of a Japanese sunburst and the curves of a Nautilus shell. Is she is turning invisible? Or perhaps she was invisible and now is becoming visible? Intriguing art asks intriguing questions.
