Description

Gerardo Zaffino's gritty art drips with testosterone. This depiction of Marv from Sin City is iconic and was created for an anniversary edition. The Hard Goodbye remains my favorite Sin City story, with the troubled but unstoppable Marv my favorite character from the series. Zaffino's art needs to be seen in person to appreciate the multiple layers of ink he uses to "build up" his illustrations. This is one of my favorite illustrations of his, and I'm so honored to add it to my collection. Thank you so much to my buddy Yo for being willing to let this prize go.

Marv is presented in all his glory with many scars and wounds that are very much a part of his character.
