Description

Another Scalera masterpiece! He wasn't very familiar with Erica Slaughter or Something is Killing the Children when he took on this commission, but after a little research, he nailed it. I love the powerful pose Erica is in after defeating a monster. Don't miss the Octo on her hip too!

I had the added pleasure of watching Matteo work on this from pencils up at Emerald City Comic Con 2022. It was great to finally meet him and chat a bit. He's a great guy.

Wonderful levelled-up contrapposto pose; I like how the knees, hips, shoulders and head tilt in alternating directions.

Yes, love this powerful pose. Great choice of tilting her head up making a downturned toothy grin. Nice use of tones. Great balance.
