I was the previous owner of this piece and you purchased it from me directly!
I purchased this on eBay previously as well and was told it was won in an auction. Unsure of the original commissioner but it has changed hands a lot over the years! Always was curious whose face it was in the bottom right but the previous owner didn't know either.

Maybe I can ask John himself, if I ever meet him.
Do you know the circa time it was created?
Tomorrow i bing it to my Gallery, and there it gets a nice Museum Glass frame😊

I believe it was around the early 2000s, you can try to email John if he remembers the commission.
