DescriptionThere's a lot to love about Image Comics' Time Before Time: Declan Shalvey spreading his wings as a writer, time travel, robots, and especially Joe Palmer's expressive cartooning. I love the storytelling he used on this page, mimicking a camera panning down as Claudette and Nadia have their conversation. Pretty cool to translate the page from a vertical tracking shot in a movie. The panel breaks slow down the speed that the camera moves downward. Palmer uses the comic page medium to his storytelling advantage.
