Description

When I was a young teenager Sandman was just wrapping up. Coming off the World's End storyline (which I had fallen in love with), i had a hard time adjusting to Mark Hempel's art. In fact, I outright hated it. Over time I have matured, and seeing a few pieces in person has given me an all new appreciation for what he accomplished in this series. The boldness, the shadows, the contrasts. It's not a coincidence that I have since acquired a few pieces.

I love this piece as the exchange between the Angel and Lucifer is classic. Great dialogue, great expressions. Very wall worthy page. Happy to own it.
