Description7-2021...I knew I wanted a Capullo piece in my collection and was happy I was able to purchase this one, especially since it was directly from Greg and Jamie (who was awesome to work with!). Though Bruce doesn't have the cowl on, it is awesome to see it make its way to the composition of the page and if you squint your eye hard enough, the bottom part of the page with the Batcave does seem to mimic the bottom of Batman's jaw! Look at the pencils and you can see Greg wrote "because paranoid" next to the eye holes; really sets the mood in the story. The piece is stunning with Batman in almost full costume, Alfred serving tea in the Batcave, and the artifact from the Court of Owls attack! So awesome to also have Greg's pencils side by side with Galpion's inks! One of my favorites!Social/Sharing |

Wonderful addition! I actually have a few pages from this issue as well, one notably 2 pages before yours. It's a fairly pivitol issue and scene. This particular sequence showing Bruce in the cave, in costume (mostly), in detective mode, with Alfred. So many of the key elements that I personally love from a good Batman story are all here (and on the one I grabbed). Good eye on grabbing this one!

Thanks, Carl! Yours is pretty awesome too...along with your impressive collection and Capullo art! =) Your page 7 connects great with my page 9 because the cowl on your page is the direct line of site of eyes on the top of my page! They really thought out the Batcave in these pages. How does Greg do it?!
