5-2024...My first official CAF LIVE purchase! From one of the most important stories of comic book history, this prelim in my opinion really cements the moment when the man who becomes Joker begins to truly lose his sanity as he learns the death of his wife and unborn child by a freak accident. Don't know if I'll ever get a final page by Bolland but this prelim is so heavily detailed it really makes up for it, especially considering they are the first drawings of the book and it is one of my favorite pages in the story. Love how he took the time to focus even more on the fourth panel at a slightly larger scale. A master of sequential art! The prelims also remind me of Herge's prelims which is interesting.

Awesome! Part of the legendary story that still resonates today! Because it's so detailed, you can tell what page this goes to with just a glance at one of the drawings.
