Description

After a 10+ year search for a page from this story, I've finally acquired a page, and it's spectacular! Classic end page to a FANTASTIC Gullivar Jones, Warrior of Mars story. Art by Gray Morrow, story by George Alec Effinger. Gray Morrow only drew two stories of this Earthman-on-Mars series that is obviously reminiscent of John Carter of Mars.

Great page by underrated artist! I remember buying this issue as a young Marvelite, and not liking it much, cause I was focused on the superheroes. Boy, looking at it now is a whole different ball a' wax.

Absolutely gorgeous! Each piece of original art by Gray Morrow is breathtaking, but this one is priceless! The landscape textures on the first panel, the starry night on the last, the portrait of Gullivar: each detail is a treasure! Congrats!
