Description

I got a call from a friend of mine letting me know that Budd had a slot open on his sketch list. Since I didn't have a Budd Root piece in my collection I jumped at the opportunity. At first I had thought about getting a Catwoman, but at least two of the other people had already picked that character. So on a whim I picked Starfire....as you can see it was a good pick. Budd crushed this piece. Not only did it have a superhot Starfire but also paid homage to one of my favorite shows from my childhood (reruns)...THE TWILIGHT ZONE. This particular piece is from the episode titled "Nightmare at 20,000 feet" featuring William Shatner.

This piece looks even better in person, and it is huge at 17"x14". Thanks to Brian Jones and Royce Thrower for helping out on this one....and of course Budd for the incredible work.

I knew Starfire was gonna be wonderful, but the homage to the Twilight Zone makes this such a fun piece. Congrats Matt! :)

And here I was expecting her to be flying on Jet Blue! Great Piece! I mean that literally! WOW! Budd did a beautiful job & I love the humor. A epic series & a epic episode! Who doesn't love the classic Twilight Zone?
