DescriptionWhen someone asks me how I find my pages, the honest answer is "by sheer luck." I just so happen to be at the right place at the right time, meaning FIRST to inquire. That's it, that's the secret. This wasn't a page I was hunting for. But I would have been a fool to pass up a Kitty Pride and creepy Nightcrawler page from 1982 from volume 1 of the X-Men run. Only Claremont could write a story like this. And by the good graces of the seller, it was not out of my budget. It's also signed by penciler AND inker at the bottom. This is a grail in my collection. Enjoy!Social/Sharing |

I still remember how scary this sequence was back when it came out. Nightcrawler in that final panel is much more demonic in the original black and white. Big congrats!

Totally agree. His posture and stance in the last panel is one of the creepiest I've ever seen. Has a walking dead zombie feel to it.

I thought at the time that he was touching lower and was reaching to grab her in this panel. Such a creepy and memorable story. They would drag it out now over a trade paperback length.

I got a little change in my Wiacek goin' zip-a-tone and inks
Wants to call you as the AsianFunk baby, I give you a ring
But each time we talk, You get the X-Men thing
Sprite says, "No touchy, don't hug me until I give Jeff Weddin' a ring."
My honey my Kitty, don't put my love upon no elf
She said, "Brent Anderson lines and keep your hands to yourself"
