Description

Ron Lim and Kelley Jones. This cover hangs on my wall, archival matted and framed behind UV protected glass.

Once I started dabbling in comicbook art, this cover was on my wishlist. I fondly remember reading this issue over and over and over again. This is one of my all-time favorite single issue, standalone stories. I thought it was cool Black Crow out magiced Dr.Strange in one specific area saying - my powers are limited compared to yours, but, specifically attuned to the Native American spirit and this land. I also liked the visit to Red Wolf's apartment where his new pup Lobo attempted to defended it. Pretty much every page has something I appreciated.

Purchased from a site that vanished long ago. In fact, I am not sure what it was now - comicartwherehouse? I recall an assortment of Ron Lim and Jim Calafiore artwork. If only I could have afforded to get a few more pieces up for sale there - Thanos Quest pages, Aquaman covers... Extremely grateful to have this one.

Great cover image composition! The bigger characters in the background is a classic move to show their looming presence within the story.

Right on, Bo, love seeing the Native themed adds! Got 2 for the money here in Red Wolf and Black Crow! And on yeah, the Doc :) And by 80s/90s mainstay Ron Lim! Congrats, man!

Kelley Jones inking Ron Lim is not a combination I ever would have thought of, but it works! Congrats on your acquisition!
