Description

Another Bart Sears pickup from his appearnce on C.A.L. This was sort of an ooppss pickup. I was watching on my phone from a flea market. I had lucked out and just stole a Violator page, somehow beating out about 10 others who were trying to claim, so I was still pretty amped about that. When this page hit the screen I panicked and hit "send" on my pretyped "Claim Lot XX". I'm not actually upset with the page since I didn't have a good Ken page. But, to be honest I think I did pay just a tad too much for it. I guess it makes up for getting the drastically underpriced Violator page.

I just wish the goddamn word balloons were either still attached, or were never glued on in the 1st place.

This page is just SO KEN. Don't you get the sense that he's about to BEACH SOMEBODY OFF!

Just make new word balloons and paste over the stains. The appeal comes from it's place in the history of the title and the imprint more than anything in this splashy work by Sears.

Haha! BEACH OFF!!! ☀️🩳

All these 90's Valiant pages suffer the same glue affliction , few had drawn-on word balloons. And many had resized-panel stats , in addition. Like Marcus says, it's part of their shared history, don't let it ruin your enjoyment.
