Sean Murphy kicks butt.

Every book, every drawing, he always brings it full strength.

I fell in love with his art at a NYCC years ago when he was selling a box of sketches for $5/each(I got a cool Edward Scissorhands piece).

2013-2014's 'The Wake' w/ Snyder was one of the most interesting stories I'd read in ages, but the art was really what made it. Filthy beyond belief. It made me mad at myself that I didn't have an actual page of Sean's, just prelims.

So when I heard he was teaming up with Millar on a time travel comic?!? I almost wet myself.

I was so anxious and curious about this book and it's art that I started looking for it a month ago. I never do that.

This page is about as dreamy of a page as I could have hoped for. Both main characters, chronosuits, and an amazingly awesome technological background of the stargate(timegate?). I think Murphy's greatest strength is in his tech, which when combined with rough wash style, it just exudes awesome.

If I never got another Murphy page I'd be thrilled with this one.

But obviously, I now crave more...
