Up until now I've never gotten a true "commission" from anyone, with the closest being a couple of convention style pieces done beforehand.

So when I heard Mark Bright of 80s Iron Man and Green Lantern fame was willing to take on commissions I jumped at the chance! I've never been able to find much of Mark's Iron Man art so this seemed like one of the only chances I'd have to get a really solid IM piece:)

As a subject we chose Iron Man vs Juggernaut(a character he hadn't done before) and came up with a very fun concept of IM being punched through a wall, and then flying back through the hole to carry off a surprised Juggernaut, and boy do I think Mark nailed it!! The scan doesn't do it justice, but in full size it's breathtaking:)

After all of the commission horror stories I've heard of artist's being slow, expensive, or hacking through a job, Mark was the absolute picture of awesomeness and I couldn't recommend him enough. Sure, it still took a year, but I went in expecting that and was not let down in the slightest. I felt he did an amazing job and was incredibly friendly, attentive, and surprisingly humble, all of which made it a swell time all around :)
