DescriptionTitle: X-Men: Children of the Atom #1 Prelim Cover Character Study: GambitMedia Type: Pencil and Ink Art Type: Prelim Artists: Felipe Massafera Massafera drew the main cover image of the pencil prelim to X-Men: Children of the Atom #1 with the group, then highlighted a study of each of the 6 X-Men characters on their own sheet of paper separately. Some sheets have the color print-out of Jim Lee's original version as drawing reference. This pencil prelim study to the painting originally published as a variant cover for X-Men: Children of the Atom #1 by Felipe Massafera as homage to Jim Lee’s cover for X-Men Annual #1 (Marvel, 1992). Rendered in ink over graphite, image measures approx. 6 x 9" on 8 x 12" on thin drawing paper and all pencils are original artwork by Felipe Massafera, signed Social/Sharing |

I would love to see a color version of this since I've always hated that the orignal image got cut off.
