HAPPY 106th BIRTHDAY TO JACK "KING" KIRBY! May his memory never fade.

Awhile back, I asked Joe for some Kirby as MODOK portraits, and he created a couple of stunning pieces. You can see them in them "MODOK THEME 1 - Smoking" gallery.

This piece was a first attempt that was abandoned. In some ways, I like it more than the completed pieces.

This makes sense, because the only being with a more powerful brain than MODOK was Kirby.

This is fantastic! I love that there is just enough info in the figure lines and all those wonderful details in the face keeping the focus on Kirby slipping into the mind of MODOK as he becomes the charcter.
