Description

If you've listened to Robservations (the Rob Liefeld podcast) he frequently talks about submitting his work at a tradeshow and getting his first gig at Marvel.

ASM annual 23 was Rob's first work in comics and here we have the final page of the issue.

Here we have 7 panels of first Liefeld goodness.

In the top three we have some dialog between Spidey and She-hulk, culminating with some web slinging (looks McSpidey-ish to me!)

Then in the bottom we have the big reveal of the bad guys in the epilogue section.

Liefeld's first work?!? and it's a great Spider-Man page. Wow. Goes without saying that those top panels are outstanding, but it's the refrigerator comment that really makes me smile. Congrats Scot!!

There is a small push button mounted on the door frame. When depressed by the do... oh there he goes swinging off. No one wants to hear my cool refrigerator stories. Sigh.

Well, you know what I'm going to say on this one. Grats on the pickup. Unless I'm mistaken, you can already see McFarlane's influence on Liefeld's Spidey. Very cool.
