Description

This Andru run is really nostalgic for me. I remember getting this book with Doc Ock and Hammerhead off the spinner rack. In a weird twist of fate, Doc ock and Spidey are teamed up to protect Aunt May.

Doc takes out a baddie in panels 2-4 and then Spidey takes care of number 2 donw in the bottom panels with a fun little sequence.

The last 2 panels did it for me on this page, pure awesome Andru spidey!

A great page with an unexpected team-up. Classic 70's era ASM right when it's most popular for a certain demogaphic who read them (which includes a lot of the dealers of today). All for Aunt May and her love of tentacles.

Lots to love here. I missed this issue off the racks, but a classmate gave it to me. Love the way Andru reached back to use the Hammerhead's turn-table office design from ASM 114 in this issue. Always enjoyed Dave Hunt's hidden (lol) credits. POW! indeed.
