Marvel Comics. April, 2008.

My first published Spidey page. After seeing Paul P's cover to ASM #551, I knew I wanted a Larroca Spider-Man.

This is a fairly dark page from the Brand New Day storyline featuring the death of Lisa Parfrey, the leading candidate for Mayor of New York City, as she's impaled by Menace's glider. Nice full body shot of Spider-Man with some shots of Menace and Jackpot. Larroca's lines are so clean and crisp. Spider-Man's beaten and battered suit with holes and cuts looks awesome.

It might not have been as popular right after Brand New Day, but the Spider-Man artwork was on par if not even better with star power of Larroca to make up the difference.

Very dark page for Spider-Man but how else are you going to get a nice battle-damaged suit Spider-Man???

Very nice! I like seeing Larocca's Spidey work on CAF...always takes me back to those stories AND reminds what sublime line work he has when it comes to the OA. Congrats!

Larroca was excellent on Spidey. I just wish he did more! Congrats on this great page from a period of the book that I enjoyed way more than I expected I would.
