Description

Inspired by F M�s �Doodle Week�, I wanted to assemble a similar assortment of con sketch confectionery, delicious doodles, and candied commissions to celebrate the holiday season here on CAF�. Sort of a festive, goody-laden, OA Advent calendar�. The 2022 ART-VENT CALENDAR!

Day 7: One of the token occasions during the Art-vent season is, of course, Black Endpaper Friday! And this one is a very special Art-vent Calendar treat indeed, featuring Batman artist Matt Fraction! Dripping with cosmic ennui (in the form of a Power Cosmic Shoulder Shrug), the Surfer streaks across the inky blackness of the �Galactus Seed� hardcover endpapers. T�would appear Mr. Fraction is a �board with fin� guy. Check! Thank you, Matt!

I got the clearance to shrug off in appearance
Into your satellite, shinin' a silver flight
Swing out the Matt, and I know Matt will get and write
Here's an example, just a cosmic sample
How I could draw Silver man
One-time tried to surf in my home
Shine my chrome, I said, "Yo, it's on
Take cover son, or you're sketched-out
How you like my dome?", then I watched Galactus pass out
Didn't have to blast out, but I did in end page
That big punk had to pay
Drew his best for you man

Silver Surfing for you comic fans
