Every panel on this page is a knockout.
Galactus, Space, Rom and all the knights!
This one was hard to let go of.

Rom and the Spaceknights can only witness the power of Galactus. The page looks great having that cosmic quality and only reinforces how Galactus is god like in the whole of the Marvel Universe.

The sheer scale of Galactus paired with the sleek designs of the Spaceknights makes for an unforgettable page. Buscema’s dynamic layouts and Sinnott’s beautifully feathered inks always delivered, and this one’s a beauty.

Mindblowing page from Rom #27 by Sal Buscema and Joe Sinnott. Love this page with Galactus huriling himself into a Black Sun (Did we even know about Black Holes in those days?) while Rom and the Space Knights launch themselves up to Galactus' own spacecraft! Love that final panel with Galactus silhouetted in white against the Black Sun! Scenes like this were mind-boggling to me. But Sal Buscema and Joe Sinnott were up to task, drawing scenes one could barely imagine back then. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
