Posting another gift for the Art Days of Christmas 2022... Daredevil by Chris Samnee! He had a very memorable run on the Daredevil title with Mark Waid. A gift from someone who requested DD instead of getting the typical Batman drawing after a win from this year's Batober.

Love this. Samnee demonstrates that a good artist conveys as much by what s/he doesn't draw as what they do.

You know, if you -really- wanted the Bat-sketch, you can probably draw in a big pointy cowl/ear spike right where Chris stops...

This is another glorious Samnee treatise on economy. Line, concept, execution - all are simply perfect (and perfectly simple), from the face to the backdrop of city buildings in the background. More exquisite work from this master. Congrats on the decked out hauls this Christmas, Marcus! Great scores, all around!
