DescriptionA tender family portrait of a young Scrooge McDuck by Don Rosa. This work was drawn by Don on the title page of the first numbered copy of the first Finnish Lo$ omnibus, published in 1997. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong, but it may even be the first Lo$ omnibus (containing all 12 chapters) published in the world. In my understanding, it was published jointly in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, but only the Finns put out this run of 100 leatherbound copies. The first 20 of these copies contained unique full-figure, colored drawings by Don.I find this drawing quite evocative, perhaps because Don put Scrooge's family in focus here and not eg. his riches or adventures.
