DescriptionThis is a wonderful GI Joe multi-scene cartoon that appeared in Stars and Stripes in July 1944. Breger's work is not rare, but his non-King Features WWII strips are quite scarce. At this point in the war, Breger rivaled Bill Mauldin in popularity.Social/Sharing |

Cool cartoons with humor the troops would appreciate. Not sure if the general public would know the jargon or why these are funny.

Marcus, the feature was also syndicated Stateside during the war, as "Private Breger". That was a single-panel feature.
