Description

Cover of Jasper Jubenvill's Kung-Fu Comics starring Dynamite Diva. The scan doesn't do the pen nib work any justice. It's incredibly detailed and the hatching and line work is so precise and small (this is basically half the size of a standard piece of paper).

Kung Fu Comics shows Jasper's style leveling up tremendously since the last Diva comic and from seeing his subsequent published work, and what he has shown of the next Diva comic proper, this seems to be a style he will be sticking with, and no doubt improving on, for awhile.

I think this cover is referencing a golden age cover. I swear I recognize the composition but can't place it, it's been eating at me, so if anyone knows please help end my torment. Thank you in advance.

I don't know what it's referencing either, but the checkerboard and logo comes from Detective Comics.
