DescriptionThis page is from the "X-Men: the Hidden years" series (vol. 1) issue #19, entitled "Broken Promisses", in a series that was intended to fill in the original team's chronology during the early 1970's when the original X-Men comic (#6793) was publishing only reprints of earlier issues.This page contains the X-Men: Cyclops, Beast, Iceman and Marvel-Girl, wondering through a subterranean tunnel of the Mole Man. This page was done on a Marvel board. The lettering balloons were done on the artwork with the actual lettering pasted on them. A nice combination of two legendary forces! Byrne's first time returning to X-Men since the 80's was an event in itself!
