Description

I was ALL IN when Brandon Graham and pals revamped Rob Liefeld's Prophet! I loved the strangeness of the aliens, technology, and space phenomena; the art was handled superbly by every contributor. I love this page because it shows Simon Roy's supreme weird alien drawing skills! In this scene, our protagonists are acting to free their comrades from their alien stomach prison by using a honeypot alien to seduce and distract the prison alien. YEAH YOU HEARD ME! C'EST L'AMOUR!
Dear Marcus Wai: if you choose to write a parody song for this page, may I please request either Maneater by Hall & Oates, Wicked Game by Chris Isaac, or anything by Alien Ant Farm? Fantastic page by Roy from a killer series! I'm still a big fan of the series and the creativity that went in to it.

Wow - this is absolutely something I need to know more about. I'd be all-in just from your description (a honey pot escape from a stomach prison? Uh, yes please...), but the art is fantastic here! You nailed it when you called out their ability to make everything so awesomely -alien- , and I especially love the alien dialogue word balloons in panels 4 and 5. A really fun example! I need to check it out!
