This is unpublished concept art for a 1980 animated series. Signed by Kirby on the back, it captures the classic moment of Thor's transition from Donald Blake from his earlier history. Inks attributed to Alfredo Alcala.

Very nice as it takes the classic images and brings them to the 80's era of animation so a new generation can experience the Kirby magic!

Wow, a fantastic transformation piece! Probably the best piece out of all the ones done for this series. And yes, those are indeed inks by the Amazing Alfredo Alcala! So interesting to find out that Destroyer Duck wasn't the only project on which he inked Kirby.

I mean, that says it all! Classic Thor goodness by the King - hard to top a tranformation page! Black to Thor and cane to Mjolnir! Congrats!
