Luis Royo - Muerte y Vida [Death and Life] (2009)

Painted surface 52,5 x 15 cm in a format of 70 x 25 cm
Watercolor and Acrylic with Airbrush on Paper

Signed and with Certificate of Authenticity

One of the two preliminaries for the definitive painting that Luis Royo made for the CD cover of the musical group Avalanche CD 'Muerte y Vida�.
Final work published inside the book Malefic - New Remastered Edition (2009) (pg 49-52)

"Near the window was the tenth painting, but the light that was reaching it wasn�t making any nuance on its resounding black surface. However, if you would pass the fingers. The roughness told him of silhouettes of tombstones, long graveyards lost in the horizon, full of attraction, pain and loss. A flapping flight followed by shrill shrieks went through his mind. Haunting work! The whole of this has a great atmosphere with death surrounding the young newborn babe.
