Description

Whenever I've traditionally thought about Darkhawk, never having read an actual Darkhawk comic to begin with and rather simply seeing some of his books pop up in dollar bins, I've long thought the majority of his stories involved him fighting tentacle and/or Lovecraftian monsters. From this cover alone, it still seems like I'm right! Granted, I'm well aware he's a space-cyborg hero and I definitely need to sit down and read some Darkhawk one day; from what I've heard, the stories are pretty nutty!

Anyway, my first Darkhawk cover! Sure, it's not #1 or anything, but I like it...a lot! How the heck does our hero escape being tentacled by a sea-monster pirate with a knife? Guess we'll have to read and find out!

Excellent cover from the series! From such an underrated character and series, this title lasted to 50 issues, so there are definitely a lot of fans out there.
