Description

An incredible and early Valentina page complete with an erotic film set and all the flourishes you'd expect and graceful (and bondagey) images of Val and lots of lovely gals. The right hand image was reprinted as a cover when Fantagraphics did The Complete Crepax book.

I don't know much about Crepax but every piece I see is beautiful. I believe he did some jazz covers decades ago.

George, He loved jazz and did a series of drawings of jazz legends in book form and as album art.

Very influential with a myriad of 70's iconography of eroticism and patterns of the time period that has endured becuase it still engages the audience on a fundamental level.

Crepax is my favorite comic artist and this page is stunning and rare, belonging to the early period of Valentina.
