DescriptionThis ones an acrylic commission by Fabrizio de Tomasso, who's work I first encountered through his social media. Quickly I noticed even from his sketchbook roughs and studies that he had an absolute mastery of realistic rendering, texture and lighting. His painted pieces almost appear to literally protrude from the white of the paper, and its mesmerizing to look at.So when his commission list opened at the end of last year with only 4 spots I moved quickly to hop on, and it wasn't too hard to decide that I'd request he try his hand at my favorite Raccoon. I think the piece speaks for itself but suffice to say I am VERY pleased with it. Its now the center piece of my current wall display and I'll spend many a future moment admiring it. Social/Sharing |

Totally bummed I couldn't get on his latest commission list. He is a beast with a brush! Congrats on this one!

I heard it went quick! But i believe he said he's doing another one for a later con appearance so keep trying!

It's a beauty with the realism of the movie magic painted version of Rocket going feral!
