DescriptionThe best part of the two pieces I have by Kirby is seeing the notes in the margins describing what is happening. Must have been pretty easy for Stan to then write the dialogue. Not sure why Jack did not get at least co-credit in the story-telling.Social/Sharing |

Kang gets away again! A great closing page full of hope and promise that Thor will be victorious next month! From emotion to battle, Kirby power pulsates on every panel!

Stan had an almost planet sized Ego, which is why he did not like to give co credit. 'He hath too much Ego', sayeth The Mighty Thor, which is why co creators felt 'Pretty Thor' on the subject. Lol. The art is great.

Peter, that's terrible. But I like it.

The King! Great final page. The figure of Kang is superb.

One of Stan's last efforts before he gave up writing anything but cliches as this series continued. This is Jack still near his peak, which I think was the Troll series. But both men deteriorated rapidly from here until Jack left for DC. First Wood, then Ditko, then finally Kirby. Romita and Sinnott did yeoman's work trying their best to hold onto the same look for Marvel's key books. But Marvel could not recover from such a talent drain until the 1980s led by Byrne.
