Artist: John Williams (1961-)
Title: Demon - concept sketch for �Dead Files� Evolution.
Medium: Ink on paper, mounted in sketchbook
Size: Image size 210mm x 130mm
Signed: yes, monogram on bottom right.
Notes: I purchased two sketchbooks, containing about 52 double-sided A4 pages for a graphic novel called 'Dead Files Evolution', conceived by the artist John Williams. This horror/fantasy idea has many wonderful creature ideas, and storylines!

Artist John Williams worked on a variety of Marvel UK comics such as The Real Ghostbusters, Transformers, Thundercats, Incredible Hulk, etc, under the pseudonym John Marshall.

The illustration presentation of this demon makes a big impression. It's a demon that's been defeated and trapped. You can tell it was once a fearsome and magnificent beast that had to be put down hard. Just enough of a background to tell you that this is in a dungeon.

Nice commentary Marcus. The sketchbooks are full of a variety of sketches and panels and at the moment it is hard to put together the overall story. Thanks
