Description

There's nothing strange about the incredible magic that Eisner and Ringo award-winning artist Peach Momoko brings to her covers. The Japanese illustrator began exhibiting at US comic conventions back in 2014 and saw American publication with a couple of stories picked up by Grant Morrison when he was Editor-in-Chief of Heavy Metal Magazine. Since then, she has become the hottest variant cover art creator in the business, increasingly in demand, drawing over a dozen covers for American publishers every month. This beautiful combination of grey tones and pastel for the mutant sorceress Illyana Rasputin (aka Magik) is one of only a handful of covers HA has offered by the talented artist. The Scottie Young helmed title "Strange Academy" is rumored to join the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe as a Disney+ series, but no official date has been revealed as of this time. As a note, "Strange Academy #1 has 11 first appearances.
