DescriptionAn intimate bit of face-to-face head stabbery in this one. I had this cover on my list and saved on my phone to look at since 2017! Felix'd have Ottley drops and I'd be all 'well, none of that's the Head Lopper cover- pft'. It finally appeared at the NYFC covers drop at the end of 2021 and I lost years of my life hoping to be fast enough to beat any of you other piranhas who might've wanted it. I love Ryan's monsters and I love Head Lopper. Definitely one for the wall.Social/Sharing |

Sick!! Love to see Ottley draw a monster and the scale of the beast here is grand. Your patience paid off and you were fast enough, gotta love it.

Superb cover! Love how Ottley fit the two figures together on the page like a puzzle. The faces, anatomy, splatter, motion effects, textures, shadows, and intensity are right on

Thank you Sir Artless. The intensity of it is one of the things that appealed to me too. We see some beautifully staged monster fights in comics but there's an immediacy to this I enjoy.

YAY! Such a cool piece! It's almost terrifying to look at! I can hear the *splurt* of the brains and gore as the sword pierces the back of the monsters skull!

Crazy cool cover! Ryan Ottley really outdid himself here! Congrats on having the patience (And speed) to pick it up!

I absolutely love this piece! So cool to see Ottley's take on this series and was wondering if I would come across this somewhere on CAF. Congrats!
